Diaphragm Valves
Manual and automatic diaphragm valves for viscous, abrasive or sensitive products
DIAPHR-V Series diaphragm valves provide complete isolation between the fluid and the actuation mechanisms, eliminating any risk of contamination. Their dynamic seal-free and dead-space-free design makes them ideal for sanitary, corrosive, and abrasive applications where sealing and purity are critical.
Insulation: Complete fluid/mechanisms
Body materials: 316L stainless steel, PVC, PP, PVDF
Membranes: EPDM, FKM, PTFE, NBR
Design: No dead space, hygienic
Main characteristics of diaphragm valves
- Flexible membrane design ensuring complete isolation between the fluid and the mechanisms
- Body made of 316L stainless steel, PVC, PP, PVDF or special alloys depending on the application
- Membranes made of EPDM, FKM (Viton), PTFE, NBR or special materials for specific applications
- Zero dead space design for healthcare and pharmaceutical applications
- Two-way watertight seal with replaceable membrane
- Compliant with ASME BPE, FDA, USP Class VI, and 3-A Sanitary Standards
- EHEDG, ATEX for explosive atmospheres, and GMP for regulated industries certifications
Technical advantages
Complete isolation: The membrane completely separates the fluid from the mechanical parts, eliminating any risk of contamination and allowing use with sterile or sensitive products.
Reduced maintenance: No dynamic seal, no external leakage. The diaphragm is easily replaceable without dismantling the valve from the line.
Versatility: Suitable for viscous, abrasive, corrosive fluids, sludges, pastes and products containing suspended solids.
Optimal cleaning: Dead space-free design facilitates cleaning (CIP) and sterilization (SIP) for sanitary applications.
